The vet was efficient and professional but had little empathy with me and my pet.

An awful vets. I was charged £400 for an emergency appointment, it lasted 10 minutes and I was told they didn’t know what the issue was. The medication that I was given was out of date. Took my dog to my regular vet the next week and they identified the issue.

Maybe I am being too sensitive, however, was very unimpressed by my first visit. Went with, in my eyes, a very sick cat. Details for this not relevant. After sitting there for about 2hrs 20mins was eventually seen by the triage nurse. She apologised but said they were handling emergencies i.e dogs making a lot of noise and concerned adults. I explained, how did they not know my cat was an emergency - nobody checked, nobody was prioritising. Maybe, if I had banged the desk, screaming, help, my cat is dying, notice would have been taken. Nothing, no concern, even after 2 hours. Yes, I ranted at the lady when seen, for that I apologise. However, for an out of hours emergency at a cost of £320minimum, this was appalling. High price, zero service. Next day, contacted my daytime vets, they shifted appointments, so, they could get me in early. They know what an emergency is and reacted accordingly. For that, I thank them sincerely.

I have an elderly dog who i feel in coming to the end if life. I called just before Christmas for a,consultation, feeling that she would be put to sleep. I am in receipt of pension credit and I am 77 years old. I asked how much it would cost and was informed that it would be £80.00 plus £25.00 consultation fee. I was very upset because I just haven't got that amount of money. I now have to watch my dog die a slow and unhappy death, not eating at all, and sleeping. This has affected me greatly as she is my beautiful baby.

I just want to say a massive thank you to the lovely vet and the team for seeing my cat today as an emergency appointment, she did unfortunately have to be put to sleep but I know it was what was best for her. The vet, whose name I can’t remember, was very lovely and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye and allowed me to be with her whilst she passed away.

The service was great, the vet Erick Ella's very knowledgeable and the nurse who knew my Paco took care of him all night as it was her own dog! So that meant a lot for us knowing that my Paco was in the best place with the best people

Overall, the care my cat received was good and I’m grateful for the help we received. However, there were a couple of issues that lowered my overall impression. When we arrived, my cat had been hit by a car. She couldn’t move her back end and was bleeding. We carried her in wrapped in a towel. The receptionist insisted she be put in a carrier “in case she tried to escape.” Given her condition, it was clear she was unable to move. Having to argue about this while my cat was in obvious pain and I was already very distressed was both unpleasant and unnecessary. My other concern was how the treatment options were presented. I felt pressured by the vet to agree to emergency treatment, particularly a £1500 x-ray. He later acknowledged this could wait until she saw her usual vet, since no treatment for broken bones would be carried out at the emergency clinic. At her usual vet, the consultation, x-ray, treatment, a day of care and medication came to £800 in total, which is considerably less than £1500 for an x-ray alone. I worry that if I had been less informed, I might have agreed to unnecessary and very expensive treatment. I understand emergency care is always costly, but it is important that owners in distress are given clear choices without feeling pressured. The experience left me concerned that the focus was financial rather than on what was truly in my cat’s best interests.

The out of hours service welcomed up, kept us calm and saw to our poorly dog quickly and efficient, the routine check to see what was wrong, was amazing, quick and pain free for our dog. They found what was wrong and ensured they gave us the right medicines to make sure she gets better as soon as possible

Such an amazing vets 💙 They seen my boy Alfie at 4am last Sunday and seen him again this Saturday. My dog has heart failure and water on the lungs. They were able to stabilise him both times. He was so sad before his treatment and now he is back to his happy self. The staff from reception, nurse and vets are all absolutely amazing. They are so kind with their words and really help to make you feel at ease. They work long hours and tirelessly to help look after not just our animals, but us Humans too. Absolutely outstanding service ❤️
