⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t be happier with the care our Frenchie has received at Stokewood Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Iulia is truly exceptional — supportive, empathetic, and always taking the time to explain Maya’s condition and the steps to resolve it. She prescribed the right medication and gave us great advice that made a real difference. You can tell she genuinely cares, and our k9 companion absolutely loves her! It’s rare to find a vet who combines such professionalism with warmth and compassion. Highly recommended to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care.

The most rude and patronising receptionist I have ever dealt with. Dealing with this when my dog is dying. Il be taking my three dog elsewhere

Fantastic team of dedicated, kind and knowledgeable vets, vet nurses and receptionists at this clinic, I can only recommend. My nearly 4 year old feline fur baby has always been under their care and I've always been satisfied with the service provided, however, he regrettably suffered spinal nerve injury due to a nasty hit and run incident in July and the extensive care and support he (and we) have been receiving throughout this difficult phase is truly exceptional. Special thanks to Dr Iulia Coroian who's been an absolute lifeline in every aspect and have been going above and beyond to support us with Floki's recovery. Without her expertise and professional care Floki may not be here with us today but thanks to Iulia he is progressing amazingly on his road to full recovery. I cannot recommend Stokewood Vets highly enough, your pet is in absolute safe hands here. ☺️

A wonderful practice. When it was discovered that my cat needed surgery this was done promptly and skillfully with good post-op care. I also want to add how kind they were to me as an anxious owner. I was never rushed. There was always time to answer my questions and discuss the treatment. Thank you all very much

My golden retriever was registered with Stokewood since we got him in 2021 and I was generally pretty happy with the service. Vets were friendly and we were able to get appointments quickly. One of the biggest reasons for staying was the VIP plan which included the cost of consultations amongst other things. Over time, the cost of the plan gradually creeped up and I was never notified despite them insisting an email was sent out. I felt the standard of care was also starting to decrease after a change of ownership, with it becoming difficult to see the same vet and misleading advice being given regarding an ongoing ear problem my dog had. They then removed the consultations from the VIP plan, which I was only made aware of after I'd taken him in for a visit and was subsequently charged. It's interesting to see another review below with exactly the same issue of not being notified. They should have done alot more to make customers aware of such a significant change. Ultimately I decided to go another vets, who resolved my dog's ear issue after one visit after I'd spent nearly a year with Stokewood investigating it, wasting hundreds. Could be coincidence but I couldn't be happier to have left.

I have my 2 golden retrievers on the VIP membership Stokewood Veterinary Centre. Can easily get an appointment for my pups whenever I need with no extra charge. Lovely people. They really care for the dogs and are very helpful UPDATED REVIEW (OCTOBER 2024) They’ve changed their VIP plan and now consultations are not included anymore so you have to pay nearly £60 for a consultation even if you pay a monthly plan (currently one of the highest priced in town £34 for my dog - which used to include VIP consultation with no extra charge). Medicines cost 4x more than the price online and it has became really overpriced. The vets are not the same as the ones from a couple of years ago. Everything is changed now. I work with dogs and have recommended the practice to a few customers back in 2022 and at least 80% of the people I recommended came back to me to say how unhappy they were with their services and left to another veterinarian practice. The online booking system is still pretty easy to use just bear in mind that any consultation will turn out very expensive. A few months ago my dog (under 2 years old) seemed to be a bit sore on her rear back, I felt her unbalanced when cleaning up her paws so took her to see the vets for a check up and felt really pressured by the vet to book an x-ray for the next day - and maybe surgery for following week if necessary - even tho the dog wasn’t even limping. Been quoted nearly £1000 for x-ray and I’m so glad I heard my partner who advised me to wait cause it looked like a leg strain. We’ve got some pain killers for her and a week later the dog was 100% fine. Today, months later, she is doing absolutely well so glad I didn’t get to spend all of that money she probably pulled her leg and needed some medicine and rest.

Our puppy Chase had an overnight stay at Stokewood vets and I cannot tell you how thankful I am for all the wonderful staff, especially Adrian. It is a privilege to have Chase at Stokewood. All of you did your best for him and provided high quality care and love for our Chase and I cannot thank you enough for that. These challenging times are hard for everyone but I am so appreciative for all of the staff members as it is no different for all of you doing your day to day job at the very best you can for all the pets that come your way. So thank you. I am so glad we have gone with this vets and from the bottom of my heart am so pleased with the care you gave my puppy and will forever be thankful for it. It is so surreal with everything going on but for these amazing staff members it is no different seeing as they are still working. I am so grateful their are people like all of you in these world.
